Tracking down the at-fault driver

Auto Collision

Client was rear ended while waiting to make a right turn at an intersection. The at- fault driver was driving someone else’s car and had an old address on his driver’s license. We hired a private investigator to track down the at-fault driver who attempted to evade service. Despite the insurance carrier’s assertion of non-cooperation, I tried the case and obtained a judgment 20 times the insurance company’s pre-suit offer.
Insurance Company's Offer:
$15,000
Final judgement: $300,000.00

Making the case for settlement

Auto Collision

Client was in the left lane approaching an intersection when another car crossed several lanes of traffic in an attempt to enter the left turn lane, causing a t-bone collision with Client’s vehicle. I was able to secure a settlement for Client, even though the at-fault driver had a suspended license, was previously cited multiple times for driving on a suspended license and was an excluded driver on the liability policy for the vehicle he was driving.

I warmly give my attorney Jordan Kragten a “5 Star” review for getting me more in my settlement than I hoped for. I was so appreciative of Jordan’s genuine concern during this process, that I referred him to my co-worker. She has nothing but good things to say about him as well.
